Suzy Pierce earned a Bachelor of Fine Art at The California College of Arts. In addition, she obtained a degree from Fortman Studios in Florence, Italy in Painting and Drawing.
Suzy's paintings are explorations of atmospheres and ocean elements. Her compositions explore vast spaces of ocean, land and sky with special attention to the horizon. These works are greatly influenced by the time she spent with family in Sea Ranch, California. Pierce manipulates paint with layers of reflective materials infusing glistening light into waves of dissolving media.
Suzy was honored to be accepted into the Crocker-Kingsley Art Competition, and was most recently featured in The World of Interiors Magazine UK, a Conde Nast publication. She and her artist husband, Adam own and operate Pierce Art Camp, a studio and gallery that features their paintings.
